Enables Barnett Medical Services to Provide Integrated Medical Waste Disposal to Complement Services Provided to Current Health Care Clients in Four-State Western Region.

BETHEL, Conn/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — MedClean Technologies (OTC Bulletin Board: MCLN), the leading provider of onsite technology for the treatment and disposal of medical waste and the destruction of confidential documents and related media, today announced it has signed a distributor agreement with Barnett Medical Services, a premier provider of Medical Supplies and Medical Waste Transportation services for more than 50 years. This agreement will enable Barnett to expand its service offerings to include disposal services for municipal solid waste, pathological waste, and nuclear waste, as well as provide preventative and corrective maintenance services to health care clients in the Western region of the United States. The agreement also enables Barnett Medical Services to provide integrated onsite medical waste disposal and onsite document destruction technology and services as complementary services to its existing medical waste transportation services. The structure of the agreement enables both companies to collaborate on and target their integrated technology and services to the more than 230 large quantity medical waste generators and the nearly 1,500 medium quantity medical waste generators in the four-state Western region with the expectation to generate new business yielding $1 million to $2 million in revenue for each company in the first year of the partnership while accelerating toward a target of 10 percent market penetration in this market segment in future years of the relationship.

“Barnett Medical Services can now offer medical waste disposal and document destruction technology onsite, or create off-site processing stations and services to hospital clients with a MedClean System that complements their medical waste transport business,” commented Dave Laky, President and CEO, MedClean Technologies, Inc. “This alliance provides further validation that MedClean’s on-demand, on-site container technology offers the flexibility to handle a hospital’s onsite processing needs or can be set up in a manner to support centralized waste processing for a service bureau approach to waste processing. Our technology continues to offer superior cost savings, risk mitigation and quality to the health care community when compared to traditional offsite hauling only solutions.”

“Barnett Medical Services is excited about its partnership with MedClean Technologies as it completes its cradle-to-grave medical disposal service,” added Brett Espicha, President and CEO of Barnett Medical Services. “MedClean’s technology is a natural fit to our environmentally sensitive mission statement. Our relationship with MedClean Technologies will allow us to expand rapidly throughout the four western states. We will be able to deliver to our customers, no matter how small or how large a generator of medical waste, a disposal system that makes the most sense to them.”
